Elevation design for a hypothetical exhibition named Spectrum. The exhibit's goal is to raise awareness of autism, also known as Autism Spectrum Disorder, as a neurological difference rather than a disability. These plans were created in partial collaboration with the New York Chapter of the Autism Self Advocacy Network (ASAN); all featured texts are direct quotes from the anthology Loud Hands: Autistic People, Speaking, a project by ASAN. The exhibit seeks to be a safe space for visitors with sensory sensitivities, such as those that a visitor with autism may experience. See the full presentation and research here.
